Spanish Federation of Large Families
Become a member
Becoming a member helps us help families. Joining a member association of the Spanish Federation of Large Families (FEFN) gives you access to discounts, benefits and a dedicated support network — and the more of us there are, the stronger our voice in front of institutions and companies.
How to join
FEFN is made up of more than 80 local, provincial and regional associations across Spain. To become a member, choose the association closest to where you live and contact them by phone or email — they will guide you through the process.
You can also join online by filling in the contact form of the association of your choice. After that, you will need to email a copy of your official large-family certificate (título de familia numerosa) — or, if you do not have one yet, a copy of your family book (libro de familia) — to the association. Once they receive your documents, they will get in touch and send you your member card so you can start enjoying the benefits.
Please note: if you live in Galicia, La Rioja, Segovia, Almería, Baena, Córdoba, Huelva, Jaén or Sevilla, contact the association in your area directly — the online flow does not apply to those regions.
Membership fee
Being a member involves paying a small annual fee per family. Each association is a non-profit and uses the fee to cover its running costs and the services it offers to members. The fee is around €30 on average, but it varies between associations — confirm the exact amount with the one you choose to join.
Data protection
The data controller of the personal data you provide is the association you choose to join. Your data is processed on the basis of your consent, the relationship between the parties and the association's legitimate interest. Your data will not be shared with unauthorised third parties. The processing lasts as long as you remain a member. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability at any time.
Why join — ten reasons
If you are still undecided, the association federation has summarised the most relevant reasons to join in a dedicated page. The arguments range from access to exclusive discounts, legal advice and family-friendly events, to the political weight of a larger collective when negotiating public benefits and policies that affect large families.
