2. Which specific monetary allowances for large families are in your country.
Cash benefit: One-off birth grant. Value: EUR 829.86 for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th child; EUR 151.37 for the 4th and each subsequent child.
Large Families/Multiple Births: If more than one child born simultaneously, grant increases by EUR 75.69 per child. An additional EUR 110.36 per year is paid until age 15 if three or more children are born simultaneously or twins are born repeatedly within two years.

Single Parents: Leave extended to 37 weeks for single mothers. Large Families (Multiple Births): Leave extended to 43 weeks.
Parental allowance: Paid until child reaches age 3 (or 6 if disabled). Value: EUR 500.10 per month (if parent previously received maternity benefit); EUR 364.80 per month (if parent did not receive maternity benefit). Large Families (Multiple Births): Allowance increased by 25% per child in case of multiple births.

8. Which specific public transportation benefits for large families are in your country
There are no specific benefits for large families. Children under age 6 travel for free, children aged 6-15 are eligible for a 50% fare discount, students aged 16-25 enrolled in the EU education system can register to travel for free on Slovak national trains.

10. Are any of the benefits for large families in your country connected to income? If yes, please explain.
Yes, there is possiblity to support the parents’ pension by 2% of their children PIT. If more children they have then more support they will receive. If their children have more income than this 2% of PIT become higher amount of money.
11. Regarding policies for large families at European level, please mark the measures you have in your country
- Reduced VAT for diapers and basic goods for children
- Unpaid care of children in the household and for other dependent family members is recognized as work when calculating the national GDP
- Permit for large families with 7 and more children to drive the family van without professional driving license
- Basic consumptions tariff: water, electricity, gas, etc. is calculated taking into consideration the number of children
