THE NETWORK
Family friendly policies are an investment for Companies: studies suggest that structured corporate welfare impacts on productivity, turnover and labour market as well as competitiveness and financial performances.
Promoted by ELFAC and with the technical support of the Masfamilia Foundation (efr), this initiative seeks to create a European community of companies committed to “family-friendly” values.

Aims of the Network

The European Network of Family-Friendly Companies aims to promote a business model that places the family at the center of corporate well-being.

To integrate practices that support conciliation, co-responsibility, work-life balance, equality, demographic sustainability, and territorial commitment.

To promote exchanges of good practices, friendship and know how, improving mobility.

To support companies introducing innovative family policies in order to create a common and shared quality standards for the business environment.

To work with strategic European Institutions to promote family mainstreaming and an holistic view of family policies.

To influence public policies through lobbying and outreach activities.

How to join the Network
1 – The Company applies sending to ELFAC the application form, paying 50€ for secretary rights
2 – ELFAC reviews the form and the accomplishments of the requirements
3 – If the requirements are met, ELFAC issues the acceptance letter with the assessment
4 – The Company pays the bi- annual fee (see box) according to its size
5 – ELFAC delivers the partnership diploma to the Company and registers it in the Network Register.
6 – The membership is valid for 2 years and can be renewed
